Highly Porous Open Cell GOLD FOAM
Introduction
- GOLD FOAM is an open‑cell gold metal foam with ultra‑high purity (typically ≥99.99% Au) and porosity up to about 70–98%. Its 3D interconnected pore structure provides very large surface area, excellent electrical conductivity and good thermal conductivity, making it ideal as a current collector and substrate for electrocatalysts, sensors, fuel cells and advanced battery electrodes. The foam can be supplied in sheets or rolls with customized thickness, pore size (PPI) and density to fit different electrochemical and laboratory applications.
- Thanks to the stable metallic gold framework, GOLD FOAM offers outstanding corrosion resistance in most acid and salt solutions, while maintaining mechanical strength and electrical performance over long‑term operation. It can be easily cut, punched and formed into various shapes, and is also used in EMI/EMC shielding, precision filtration, heat dissipation modules and high‑end decorative or luxury products where a real metallic gold appearance and high conductivity are required.
