  1. PET double‑sided composite aluminum foil (PET/Al/PET) is a multilayer laminate designed as a reinforced current collector for lithium‑ion and other lithium‑based batteries. A high‑purity battery‑grade aluminum foil serves as the conductive core, while PET (polyethylene terephthalate) films on both sides provide mechanical strength, puncture resistance, and electrical insulation. This structure is particularly suitable for laboratory cells, prototype pouch cells, and experimental designs where enhanced safety and handling robustness are required compared with bare ultra‑thin aluminum foil.
