Recently, KunShan Oqitop New Material Co., Ltd. completed a customized order of 1,000 pieces of circular nickel foam for a university laboratory in Munich, Germany.
The nickel foam discs were specially prepared for CR2032 coin cell research. Compared with standard nickel foam sheets, the circular design allows the material to be used more conveniently in coin cell assembly and helps improve consistency during laboratory testing.
Why Nickel Foam for CR2032 Coin Cells?
Nickel foam has a three-dimensional porous structure and good electrical conductivity, making it suitable for battery and electrochemical research.
For this project, the customized nickel foam was mainly used to help provide:
