The elastic modulus of NiTi foam can be tuned by porosity to better match natural bone and reduce stress shielding.<\/li>\n<li>Thanks to the shape\u2011memory effect and superelasticity of NiTi, the foam can undergo large reversible deformation, supporting minimally invasive implantation and long\u2011term mechanical stability.
