Cu\u2013Sn foam is investigated and used as a current collector and active scaffold for lithium\u2011ion and sodium\u2011ion battery anodes, electroplating substrates, catalysts and sensors. The interconnected pores improve electrolyte penetration, ion transport and reaction kinetics.
